The system is delivered with Power Management System to achieve minimum energy use while keeping escapeways free of ice and snow (surface temperature at approx. 2 degrees celsius). Winterization testing of products/ systems

In our GMC Winterization Test Center we provide winterzation testing of all kinds for products for use in arctic regions.
The test center provides adjustable temperature from 0 to -40 degrees celsius and simulate up to 25 m/s wind, with or without sea/water spray. The test center can be fitted with any instrumentation according to client requirements and needs.

SPO compact flange

SPO Compact Flange is a bolted static pipe connection with a leakage probability in the same range as welded connections. The flanges are especially well suited in demanding applications such as for extreme low temperature and in dynamic loading situations, and when high external forces and bending moments exists.
SPO Compact Flanges is the basis for ISO 27509, but extends beyond this standard up to 20000psi pressure class. Extensive references in subsea applications, risers and in topside applications for more than 20 years.

Subsea Hydraulic Power Unit (SHPU)

The XT will have an easy access Connection (2 - 7) for Well Stimulation with access directly into Tubing to maximise the result with maximum turbulent flow. The SPO Compact Flange technology is a bolted static pipe connection with a leakage probability in the same range as welded connections, which is considerable lower than standard ASME and API flanges. The flanges are especially well suited in demanding applications such as for extreme low temperature and in dynamic loading situations, and when high external forces and bending moments exists.
SPO Compact Flanges is the basis for ISO 27509, but extends beyond this standard up to 20000psi pressure class and additional components such as swivel ring flanges and seals for subsea. Extensive references in subsea applications and risers for more than 20 years. The use of SPO CF will give improved regularity since these flanges do not need any maintenance, leakages do not develop under operation.

The system is approved down to -25 degrees celsius.

Heated escapeways keep the surface free for ice and snow, providing a safe environment for normal walking and evacuation if needed. Moulded escapeways are flexible and a cost efficient way of heating surfaces in order to ensure safe operations in the arctic regions.

In our GMC Winterization Test Center we provide winterzation testing of all kinds for products for use in arctic regions.
The test center provides adjustable temperature from 0 to -40 degrees celsius and simulate up to 25 m/s wind, with or without sea/water spray. The test center can be fitted with any instrumentation according to client requirements and needs.
